Sponsorship project - To assist rural and slum girls students to complete their further education.

Background & Need:

SPMESM is working in 100 villages of Aurangabad district since 1993.

These villages are drought prone & come under climate affected zone. Hilly terrain & remoteness of these villages, illiteracy & poverty has worsened the development indicators of this area.

Especially girl students are the victims of underage marriages .This year 21 % girls have undergone marriages before attaining the age of 18.

Goal: Self-reliant rural and slum youth.

Objective:

1. To promote 20 girl students to enroll in health related skill training program.
2. To provide financial assistance to these 20 girl students to complete their education burden free.

• To make awareness about the health related courses in Project area.
• To get enrolled the 20 girl students for courses.
