SPMESM started working with women from slums since its inception after the successful implementation of earlier project models like SHGs, Skill and Livelihood Programs and awareness dries, we now have a comprehensive project- Project Tejaswini for the slum women.

Women and girls in the semi urban and rural areas are victims of orthodox beliefs and practices that form a vicious cycle inhibiting growth, leading to further complications in adulthood. That's why we started customized & innovative initiatives to cater to their specific needs. These programs saw women from slums uniting to resolve their own issues displaying leadership.
